Gaye Doser is a Turkish beading designer and mixed media artist, she also is a lampwork beads designer. She was born Istanbul.
She has studied at Yildiz Technical University, at Mineralogy major (natural beads, shape of the crystals, symmetry at crystals, crystallographic axes and the parameters) and improved her knowledge. She has started her own designs at 1993 with silver and semiprecious stones.
She has took in charge in some jewelry magazines as an editorial role for 8 years, then she has created 24 books and 12 CD sets for whom interested with beading and jewelry design.
Gaye Doser has got into the Glass Making world at 2002 and had joined Glass Furnace (Cam Ocağı) to took lessons from Janhein Van Stiphout, Michaela M.Möller and Metalsmith artist Mary Chuduk. She has improved herself with glass bead making lessons and beading techniques in her own country and also abroad. She has teaching beadmaking for 4 years.
Nowadays she is willing to plan and study for her own exhibition named “FROM MY GARDEN OF HEAVEN…” and she declares oneself that all the designs has to be for individual, all the beads, all the materials have been used and all the colors have been choosed for designed for reveal the natural life energy come out from the person. Thus the person who will be the owner of that piece will feel the integrity with it.
She designs unique pieces for special shops as Grand Bazaar which has traditional jewelry designs, and she teaches lampworking, beadmaking, and mixed media, metal clay and beading arts lessons in her own atelier named “Beady Cats”.
